“I highly recommend Brittany!!!! She really understands women during birth. This was the first time I was nauseous during labor. Brittany suggested Peppermint essential oil that helped right away. She also reminded me to drink water and elevated minor back pain towards the end. She was there every step of the way. Brittany is an amazingly warm and caring person. We were blessed to have her at our sons birth.”

“Brittany was great. She provided resources for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I had some back labor and she was great at putting pressure where I needed. She made my husband feel comfortable enough to be able to rest and get food, which he very much appreciated.”

“Brittany was absolutely amazing to work with. She was always quick to answer any questions I had in the last trimester of pregnancy. Was extremely knowledgeable in her answers and supported them with facts and reading material. She was also supportive in whatever decision I was making. During my unmedicated labor she was incredible support. She worked with my husband to make sure I was as comfortable as i could be, hydrated and did everything she could to help me relieve pain naturally. I can honestly say I would’ve been lost without her by my side! If I decide to have a third, I would definitely hire her again.”

Brittany was our midwife for our third child, first homebirth after 2 hospital births. My husband was a little hesitant, & she did a great job answering all his questions and making him feel at ease. I was out of state for the first half of my pregnancy, and Brittany often checked in. My children grew to love her once we began in person visits, always including them in checking on baby. She was so calm, supportive, & confident during every part of pregnancy and delivery. I really felt in charge of my own birth, and she was there to assist and cheer me on. We miss her now that we are done with postpartum visits. We’ve truly gained a friend in our whole experience!

Brittany is an amazing midwife. From the first time we met, she welcomed & answered all of my questions with ease. Brittany made my pregnancy less stressful because I knew I could go to her with any questions. Our home visits were so special. She allowed my older children to be a part of our appointments & they grew to look forward to her visits as well! During birth she was calm, supportive, and knew exactly what needed to be done. I cannot recommend her enough!

We first met Brittany when she was a student midwife and worked with her again as a midwife. While not our primary midwife, Brittany was amazing and such a great resource, especially at one stressful point in our early postpartum. As a mother and midwife, she has lots of experience, stories, & knowledge that helps & supports each mother and her family as their families grow. As part of the Gennisi Birth Collective, Brittany works with other phenomenal women (CPMs, CNM, & a MD) who are all amazing to work with for prenatal, births, and postpartum visits. We highly recommend them all and appreciate all they've done to support us as we've welcomed our new little ones.

For the men...
We used Brittany for our home birth and the whole team around her are amazing professionals. When my wife first brought it up I was hesitant but remained open. Our first birth was in a hospital which was at the time I thought was a great experience. We were the only ones on the birth floor and got a lot of attention. But when we had our home birth I was reflecting with my wife that it was an A+ experience while the previous good hospital dwarfed in comparison at closer to a B. It's so nice to have a midwife standby that a relationship can be built during pregnancy. The amount of medical experience and professionalism was far better than even at the hospital. So for the guys out there with hesitation...let go and go this route. Also pro tip is to get a doula to go with the midwife. A little emotional support delegation there is nice 👌 -
Brittany is an incredible midwife. She recognizes and treats each new little life as a gift. This was our first homebirth experience and we could not have asked for better prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. She guided us through our many questions, was easy to get a hold of, and was a tremendous source of support. She truly cares about her clients and their babies and it comes through in her work. Her passion and professionalism for midwifery care is a gift to all who get a chance to work with her.

"for far too many women pregnancy and birth is something that happens to them rather than something they set out consciously and joyfully to do themselves."
